Terms and Conditions - Career Reset

By enrolling in the Career Reset programme, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

  1. Programme Provider

    Career Reset is delivered by Julia Kay Careers (JKC).

    JKC is committed to providing a professional, supportive and respectful learning environment for all participants.

  2. Programme Overview

    Career Reset is an educational coaching programme designed to support mid-career women to reflect on their career direction, build confidence, and make intentional decisions about their future work and life.

    The programme includes online learning modules, worksheets, group discussions, and live Zoom coaching sessions. Live sessions may be recorded and made available as replays for participants who are unable to attend.

    Participants will have access to the Career Reset programme materials for a period of 12 months from the date of enrolment.

  3. Participant Commitment

    Career Reset is designed as an active learning experience. Participants are expected to engage with programme materials and complete exercises in order to gain the greatest benefit.


    Participants are encouraged to attend live sessions where possible. However, attendance is not mandatory and recordings will be provided.


    JKC cannot guarantee any specific personal, financial, or career outcomes from participation in the programme. Outcomes depend on each participant’s engagement, effort, and circumstances.

  4. Code of Conduct

    Career Reset aims to provide a respectful and supportive environment for all participants.

    Participants agree to:

    Treat other participants with respect, kindness and professionalism
    Respect differing views and experiences within the group
    Engage constructively in discussions and group activities
    Maintain confidentiality of personal information shared within the programme


    Disruptive, disrespectful, or harmful behaviour will not be tolerated.

  5. Community Confidentiality

    Career Reset includes group discussions where participants may share personal experiences relating to work, career, and life.


    Participants agree to respect the privacy of others in the programme and must not share or disclose personal stories, identities, or information shared by other participants outside the programme.


    This confidentiality expectation helps create a safe and supportive learning environment for everyone involved.

  6. Confidentiality and Privacy

    Personal information or business information supplied to JKC by the participant during coaching sessions will be treated as confidential.

    JKC will not disclose participant information to a third party without prior permission, except where required by law.

    Any personal information held by JKC will be managed in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 and other applicable New Zealand legal requirements.

  7. Payments

    Programme fees must be paid in full or in accordance with the selected payment plan.

    Participants who choose a payment plan remain responsible for completing all payments, regardless of whether they continue participating in the programme.

    Access to programme materials may be suspended if payment obligations are not met.

  8. Cancellations and Refunds

    JKC understands that unforeseen circumstances can occur. If illness or significant personal circumstances prevent participation, participants are encouraged to contact JKC to discuss their situation.

    Refunds, transfers, or alternative arrangements may be considered at the sole discretion of JKC and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

    JKC requires a minimum number of participants to run the programme.
    If JKC cancels the programme prior to commencement for any reason, participants will receive a full refund.

    If JKC is required to cancel the programme after it has commenced, a partial refund may be offered at JKC’s discretion.

  9. Programme Suitability

    Career Reset is a professional development programme and is not therapy, counselling, legal advice, employment law advice, or clinical support.

    The programme is not suitable for individuals experiencing acute personal crisis or requiring urgent therapeutic or clinical support.

    Participants requiring mental health, therapeutic, or legal assistance should seek support from an appropriately qualified professional.

  10. Personal Responsibility

    Participants acknowledge that all decisions and actions taken following participation in Career Reset are their own responsibility.

    JKC provides coaching, frameworks, and guidance, however it is the participant’s sole responsibility to decide whether or not to follow any recommendation or advice.

  11. Recording and Media Consent

    Live sessions may be recorded to allow participants who are unable to attend to access the content at a later time.

    By participating in live sessions, participants acknowledge that recordings may include their name, voice, comments, or questions.

    These recordings will only be made available to participants within the Career Reset programme and will not be publicly distributed without consent.

    Participants are asked not to record, reproduce, or distribute programme sessions without prior written permission from JKC.

  12. Account Access and Sharing

    Each participant enrolment provides access to the programme for one individual only.

    Access is granted for 12 months from the date the participant is granted access to the course platform.

    Login details and programme access must not be shared with others. Participants may not reproduce, distribute, or provide programme materials to individuals who have not enrolled in the programme

    JKC reserves the right to suspend or terminate access if account sharing or unauthorised distribution of materials is identified.

  13. Intellectual Property

    All course materials, including videos, worksheets, frameworks, templates, and resources, remain the intellectual property of Julia Kay Careers.

    Participants may use these materials for their own personal development only and may not reproduce, distribute, sell, or share them without prior written permission from JKC.

  14. Limitation of Liability

    To the fullest extent permitted by law, JKC accepts no liability for any loss, damage, cost, or expense incurred by participants as a result of participating in the programme.

    This includes financial loss, employment decisions, career changes, or any perceived failure to achieve personal or professional goals.

    No liability is accepted for actions taken by participants based on information provided during coaching sessions, programme materials, events, or through the JKC website.

  15. Termination of Participation

    JKC reserves the right to terminate a participant’s access to the programme if:

    The participant breaches these Terms and Conditions
    The participant behaves in a way that is disrespectful, disruptive, or harmful to other participants
    JKC determines the coaching relationship is no longer workable

    In such cases, refunds will not be provided.

  16. Consumer Law

    Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits or excludes the rights available to consumers under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act.

  17. Governing Law

    These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of New Zealand courts.

  18. Acceptance of Terms
    By enrolling in the Career Reset programme, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
